Abstracts and Posters

The ICHG 2017 Organising Committee welcomes both poster and oral abstract submissions for consideration. Prizes will be awarded for the best poster and best oral presentations that demonstrate the most valuable contribution to the field of HG research or service development. The work must have been carried out in the last two years, be innovative, original and must demonstrate accepted good practice.

Please note that all presenting authors must be registered as delegates without exception. But submitting an abstract you are confirming the availability of the presenting author to attend as a paying delegate. Abstracts received without the corresponding author having a fully paid place will not be considered.

Instructions for Submission:

Your abstract must be received, by email and in English, 6pm on 1st July 2017

Email your abstract to: caitlin.dean@postgrad.plymouth.ac.uk

Final versions of abstracts will only be accepted: Files with tracking modes switched on will not be accepted

Your abstract must not exceed 500 words excluding: the title of the abstract, the names of the authors and their designations, the subtitles of the abstract and references. Maximum 3 references; Vancouver Style.

The author submitting the abstract is the Corresponding Author and this author’s contact details must be clearly given and underlined (address, tel, email)

Please indicate in your e-mail whether you prefer oral presentation or poster presentation, otherwise all submissions will be considered for both oral and poster presentation and judged competitively

The decision of the Review Committee on the acceptability of the abstract is final. While preferences for oral or poster presentations will be considered, the Committee may offer the alternative format.

Instructions on the timings and duration of oral presentations and the format and size of posters will be given in the result correspondence which will be issued by 1st August 2017 if not earlier.
